What are your goals for this season?
Film, film, film. I feel as the years go by, getting efforts on camera will stick with me forever, while competition results are a statistic on paper.
Which competitions should our readers look for you at?
Flaunt-it, BP&J, Nikita Chikita, Mamafest, Campus Rail Jam tour and whatever pops up.
Any exciting travel plans?
Yes!!! I call it, “My adventures of chasing POW!” It is always exciting.
Pirates or Ninjas?
Be a ninja, do a pirate. Can I say that?
Favorite new gear from your sponsors?
I love anything Cilla makes. It is all so amazing so it is more than just snowboard gear for me. I love smith’s IO/s. They are a smaller frame than the IO so it is accommodating women. Ride’s Bandita bindings are fun and they work great. All of Pow’s gloves are killer so it makes it hard to pick one thing. Spacecraft does a lot of collaborations with different artists so their stuff is always unique.
Anything else you want to share?
Don’t ever let anyone tell you, “You can’t.” Especially yourself.
Why we love her:
Randa is a hard working perfectionist, and is really dedicated to snowboarding. After a serious neck injury last season, she’s back with a new lease on life, hitting hard even though she’s barely out of her halo. She’s also one of the sweetest girls on our team. She’s super smart and a math wiz… with the college degree to prove it.
Home Mountain: Big Boulder in Pa
Current Mountain: Mt Hood
Setup: Ride Tokidoki Canvas 148, Ride Tokidoki Zeta Bindings, and Ride Scarlet Boots.
Years riding: 9
Favorite stuff to ride on: Pow!!!! but I’ll take anything my board can slide.
How would you decribe yourself: Hard working but fun, open minded, and adventurous.
Goals for the season: I’d like to get some filming and shooting done this season. I’d like to make it to some comps out of the Northwest, and Ms. Superpark.
