Shout outs: I want to say thank you to my family, friends and sponsors that keep supporting me to do what I love to do!

What are five things you’re thankful for this winter?
Having a house in Bend, having a vehicle/camper that is home on the road while traveling, all my backcountry tools (splitboard, snowmobile, avy gear etc.),warm gear from Nikita and Dakine and Mother Nature for whatever she has to offer us this season!

What are your plans for the winter?
I want to ride as much Mt. Bachelor powder as much as I can and get out to the backcountry more than I ever have! I defiantly want to ride in Washington some this winter. I am hoping to get in the lottery for the Mt. Baker LBS! Maybe TNFM if that is still around. I just want to enjoy riding my snowboard and keep progressing, learn new tricks and keep pushing myself!
What is something that you would change about the snowboard industry if you could?
That most people ride for energy drink sponsors. They represent these products and people think it’s cool to drink them because the athletes are. But really they are drinking water out of their energy drink bottles. They don’t even drink the stuff. But all for their own, how could you say no to a red bull sponsor!

What advice do you have for girls who are about to try snowboarding for the first time this season?
The first thing that you want to do is learn to turn and practice being in control and being able to stop. It’s fun from then on out!

Competitions or filming?
Filming competitions. I think they are cool!
Who influences you in snowboarding?
My boyfriend Forrest and all my friends that shred it up. Ladies like Marie France-Roy, Maria DeBari, Hana Beaman, Jamie Anderson, Kjersti Buaas, Christy Prior and so many more people out there are all influential riders to me.

When it comes to snowboarding, describe your attitude.
I am pretty laid back. Out there to have a good time!
Best road trip you’ve been on?
So many good ones! I feel like my life is a road trip. My boyfriend and I have a camper in the bed of a truck so road trips are a constant thing we do. My most recent trip was traveling from Bend Oregon down to the Redwoods, camping, hiking, surfing, swimming and beach combing. We spent nine days on the road experiencing the Northern California and Oregon coastline!
Pre snowboard ritual?
Wake up, get something to eat and be up at the mountain with plenty of time to be in line for opening! Freshies are where it is at!

Off the hill, we could find you…
At Juniper swim and fitness center!
Pirates or ninjas?
Ninja pirate!
Favorite ice cream?
Coconut Bliss
Top 10 music list
Ween, The Black Keys, White Stripes, Tanya Stevens, Slick Rick, Gyptian, Beck, Lorde, Pink, led Zeppelin
Who is your celebrity crush?
Can’t even think of one!
If you could have a superpower what would it be?
To fly.
What’s your sign?
Why do you think Shred Betties is important to women’s snowboarding?
Shred Betties is a great outlet for females in the snowboard industry! Shred Betties creates a place for all of us girls to express our selves and show the world what cool stuff we do. I think it also inspires other girls and women to do what we are doing! It gives female riders like myself a place to go read and look at what is going on currently all around the world with female shredding. I love what Shred Betties has going on!
