What are five things you’re thankful for this winter?
The ability to shred, as much and as hard as I want. The friends and connections I’ve made along the way. My sponsors help and support, and there products. The support of my friends and family. Snow, the mountain, and rivers, nature.
What are your plans for the upcoming winter?
To make the most of the season. Fine tune some old tricks learn some new ones and most of all enjoy the ride! My plan is to continue to compete in as many slope style and rail jams as possible. My desire is to become part of more filming opportunities where I can express my talents.
What is something that you would change about the snowboard industry if you could?
I would love for there to be more money opportunities for the riders but most of all I would love to see a lot more equal opportunities for us ladies snowboarders.. We are really making an impact now.
What advice do you have for girls who are about to try snowboarding for the first time this season?
Just get out there and do it! Don’t be afraid to try. But please take a lesson, because the lessons will provide you with the proper learning and safety techniques that will help with further progression. You must learn how to control your board before entering the terrain park. Most of all relax, and have fun. When you fall get back up and try again, you will always fall, but its half the fun. Most of all “enjoy the ride.”

Why do you think Shred Betties is important to women’s snowboarding?
Shred Betties gives us women a place to meet other women. Also a place people can find out what is happening in the industry on the women’s side not just the boys or big stars.
