Hoodie Tuesday: I So Wanted This in 6th Grade

Okay, so I’m temporarily going to replace myself with sixth grade Kelly to write this post. Starting now: Hi! I’m not sure if you’ve heard it, but wolves are awesome. They’re like dogs, but they’re bigger and fluffier and they howl. Plus, according to every book I’ve ever read on them, they will befriend you and then later save your life when you decide to go mine for gold in the Yukon. If I had this sweatshirt, every other girl in the sixth grade would be SOOO jealous. Except for the ones who think unicorns trump wolves. Hmm, I wonder if there’s such a thing as a wolf-icorn. And if so, is it big enough to ride? Wolf-icorns so trump unicorns.
Anyway, I can tell you’re thinking “this isn’t a hoodie, Kelly.” But clearly you can see that it was once a hoodie, but then they cut the neck off with scissors, so you could wear it off the shoulder. I do that to hoodies all of the time. Who needs hoods when what you’re going for is FLASHDANCE.
Okay, back to my normal adult(ish) self: What was that about my sixth grade self being a dork? No no, this sweatshirt is pretty rad. It is! Check it out on the Betty Rides website if you need to see more. Now, if only I had a time machine…
By the way… yes, I’m old, and it was still the 80’s when I was in 6th grade…
