What are you up to this summer?  Are you at Hood for the whole summer, or just for a bit?
I just left High Cascade yesterday!  I’m there all summer, every summer!

Since you’re a Summit County girl - have you gotten a chance to check out Woodward at Copper? If so, what’d you think?
I have been to Woodward a few times and it is so fun!  I can’t wait to go there again when I get back to CO!  Its the coolest playground mixed with a gymnastics class that makes kids of all ages wanna go wild!

You got some great shots in the POM POM video last season - are you planning any more filming?
Aw, thanks!  My friends and I film all the time.  We never are quite sure what the footage is gonna be used for, but we send it to our sponsors, and it’s out there!  I’m not a contest kid.  I don’t have a competitive bone in my body, so filming is the best way to show people I can shred!

By the way, I noticed that the POM POM logo is an awesome shredder.  Did you help her with her skills?
When I first met her, she couldn’t make toeside turns.  Now she goes bigger than all the dudes!

Pirates or Ninjas?
Well that would really depend on the situation.  I mean, is the battle at sea? In which case, I would prefer to have a pirate on my side.  But Ninjas are the best at sneaking up on people and disappearing when they need to.  If I had to choose one, Pirates, cuz they are sexier.

What’s in store for next season? What are you looking forward to most?
What am I not looking forward to?!  Life is full of adventures!  I’m really excited for some new roomies moving in, boarding with all my incredible friends, and taking my sled out a lot!

Our readers are getting ready to get their 2010 gear - anything from your sponsors that you’re super excited about?
Oh yeah!  This Capita board I rode all summer is nothing short of amazing.  Its called the Space Metal Fantasy and has Capita’s Flatkick technology. Every lady out there must check it out!  I love the Smith I/Os and the smaller frame version thats brand new called the I/OS’s.  The new Cilla stuff is beautiful and its all I wear.  Honestly, every one of my sponsors keeps me with product that I love and I am so thankful for that.

Rails or Powder?
Powder! Thats the easiest question I have ever been asked.  Powder makes me happiest and reminds me why I snowboard!

What’s your advice for girls just getting started with snowboarding?
Don’t worry about what the boys…or anyone for that matter…has to say.  Don’t worry about being laughed at or making an ass out of yourself!  Do at least one thing every day that scares you.  Snowboard for the love of it and for no other reason, and follow your heart!

Favorite place you’ve travelled to ride?
I love Mt Bachelor!  There are so many crazy fun natural features!  I always have the best times in Utah…Salt Lake, Brighton, Snowbird.  I had the best pow days of the season out there last year.  It sounds cheesy, but I have fun wherever I go! Can’t wait to try out more places!
