What did you think of snowboarding the first time you tried it?
I grew up skiing but when my dad tore his knee we weren’t able to go anymore as kids, when i was 12 i started going every Friday night with my school i tried snowboarding instead of skiing and was hooked!
Any advice for girls who are interested in riding more park?
Stay committed and if you don’t get it the first time try again..and again..and again. I like hiking a box or rail when i’m trying to learn a trick rather than taking the chair up so i can get more repetition in until i get the trick
Competition or filming?
I get really pumped on competitions

Pirates or Ninjas?
Ninjas
What are you up to this summer?
Spending my summer with the good people on Mt Hood
What is the most annoying trend in snowboarding today?
Tight jean pants, HUGE headphones
Most inspirational pro rider?
My boyfriend Matt Guess is the biggest inspiration in riding for me. He’s always pushing my limits and helping me progress. He’s got a lot of passion for the sport.
What do you do to train for riding?
When I’m not riding i’m rock climbing, biking, or hiking with my husky pup
Do you set goals each season? What are your goals for next season?
I do! This season i really wanted to back flip, and finally learned them. Next year I hope to travel a lot, I’ve always wanted to go to Jackson, and I’d like to get back to Tahoe and Mammoth. As far as riding goes I’d like to get some more solid jump tricks.
