What did you think of snowboarding when you first tried it? Addicted Immediately. The first day I snowboarded, I left the mountain with a black eye, and a swollen golfball sized thing under it. Seriously though, it was so freaking fun!

What is the coolest place you’ve traveled to ride?
First place- to Colorado from PA (which is why I live here now). Also Mt. Hood, OR; so crazy riding in the summer!

What do you think of women’s snowboarding today?
Progressing… Imitating the guys deal slightly, which is cool because guys are killing it. Seriously, women’s snowboarding is developing with style and that’s huge. I see girls on the mountain and I am like, “Whoa, look at that guy kill it. Wait, just kidding that is a girl!”

Worst Trend in snowboarding?
HATERS, but guess I’m a hater for hating haters… Oh, condition haters are the worst. Why wait for the perfect blue sky day?. Everyday is sick!!!

If you couldn’t snowboard, what would you do?
Lead safaris in Africa. Yoga in India.

Pirates or Ninjas?
Ninjas

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s happened to you in a competition?
I did get a concussion once, but I can’t remember if that was really that embarrassing. Maybe I was acting like a total space cadet goofball which could have been weird… Oh and I kept riding, and I do remember doing a continuous tail tap-nose tap on a flat box which is way wacked.

What trick have you most recently mastered?  How’d you figure it out?  Butter front 180- switch back 180 pivot- pretzel one out. This combo trick on a battleship is sick! Figured out: playing around and making an accident happen.

Any advice for girls who want to start hitting rails? Just hit it, hit it, and get MJ “Beat It” stuck in your head, and change the words, sing it to yourself, and do it.

Favorites: Props like- HIGH FIVE, VERY NICE, GREAT SUCCESS! laughing (after you get wrecked), riding to music that gives you the urge to make new moves definitely

Park Feature: so many features, thank you rail engineer aka GOD!

Imaginary Animal: giraffe-ieeeeeeee

Snack Food: dried mango, hemp granola

Drink: chai tea

Snowboard Shop: The Boardroom Boardshop
