Any advice for girls just getting into riding?
Don’t give up over having a bad day. If you fall a lot or can’t land that trick or can’t get the perfect pow line don’t stress, everyone has a bad day here and there. Just keep trying and your effort will pay off!
What is the coolest place you’ve traveled to ride?
Probably Whistler, I went this summer for 2 days and was blown away by how huge and beautiful the mountain is. The drive up there is by far the coolest drive ever. I also enjoy going to Hood for the summer because Windells park is sick and tons of friends are there!
Who’s your favorite pro rider?
MFR she is kicking bum and taking names right now. She is really progressing women’s snowboarding!
Worst Trend in snowboarding?
Being overly competitive. You miss out on all the great things snowboarding has to offer when you are too consumed with winning contests and going pro. I love riding with my friends and just having a great day, if I learn a new trick even better. If you love riding and have fun someone will see that and hook you up.
What’s with the jeans? Too poor for snowpants?
I just like jeans a lot, they are comfy and have good fit not to mention I wear them everyday all the time so it seems kind of natural.
A lot of people ask me if I get cold but I wear two pairs of long underwear underneath so I stay toasty all day, even when it is freezing out.

What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s happened to you in a competition?
At this contest last year they had a bunch of wallrides that spelled out Loon (the name of the resort). I went to stall on top of the L and was going too fast. I launched over it clipping the top did a half front flip, fell about 10ft and landed on my head. I ended up tacoing over myself and couldn’t get up for a while. I was like a turtle on its back I just couldn’t get up!
What trick have you most recently mastered? How’d you figure it out?
Recently got the front blunt switch-up 270 out, I probably figured it out when I hit my head one too many times trying it and then in my daze just figured out the trick.

What are you up to other than riding?
Skateboarding, schooling, I am trying to learn to be a DJ and painting here and there.
