What did you think of snowboarding the first time you went?
My first time was intimidating obviously, but not as hard as I thought it would be. I took lessons with my ski team, it was fun and new, I loved it.
Do you ever injure yourself doing something stupid and then blame snowboarding?
I tend to injure myself doing stupid things a lot. Got a sprained ankle one night from rippin’ up the dance floor so hard. I never blame snowboarding though, injury comes with the sport.
Who’s the hottest snowboard boy?
Hot snowboard boys… Oh there are a few I got my eye on, but I would never tell…
Tight pants, wide stance, or gangsta steeze?
I am all over the map when it comes to that. I like different things from both sides and I just make it my own.
What do you think the worst snowboarding trend is?
To each his own really. I love snowboard trends it makes people watching so interesting, everyone has their own personal style and flare. I am not going to hate on any of them, but I may not follow them.
Pirates or Ninjas?
Ninjas are really cool and all, but I’ll definitely have to go with pirates. They are badass.
Do you think style should get more credit in the contest circuit, or should tricks be judged mostly by their level of technical difficulty?
Style is so important. Sure, difficulty of trick is a factor, but if you are comparing a hucked spin to a stylie spin, definitely go for style. Style shows control, which is difficult. When being judged style should definitely not be forgotten.
Mittens or gloves?
In the summer time, I don’t wear anything. During the winter I had these AMAZING white leather mittens, I loved them but lost them, so I switched to gloves because I could never find mittens that amazing again…
What would you do for a Klondike bar?
I don’t even know what those are, I think I saw that commercial once… haha I wouldn’t mind a milkshake right now though, chocolate please.
What’s the most embarrassing thing that has happened to you on a snowboard?
Embarrassing… haha. I try not to let things embarrass me but I definitely have had some funny things happen to me. When I was really little, I was riding pipe and I fell over. Back then the snowboard was heavier than me and it had me pinned on the ground with my feet over my head. Instead of helping me, my friends just laughed and watched.
