How did you decide to start competing?  Was your first competition scary?
I was usually at Raging Buffalo on the weekends when the USASA competitions were going on so I decided to try it out .  It wasnt scary at the time.

What advice do you have for girls interested in getting started competing?
Just try it, its a great way to find other girls to ride with and meet a lot of new people.

Do you have a strict training schedule, or do you just wing it?
When I’m home I don’t really ‘train’ that much but when I’m away traveling I train pretty hard.

Pirates or Ninjas?
Ninjas, it reminds me of when I used to do gymnastics.

What’s your favorite new gear this season?
My new Roxy Ally board with BTX, it’s a 143 which is kind of big for me but its fun for just freeriding.

Competition or filming?
Competing, although it’s stressful at times, I get to hang out with all my friends

What are you most proud of this season?
So far, my season is just starting but I’d have to say landing a McTwist in the pipe.  Last year I landed a 900 at Nationals. That felt pretty Awesome.

Which tricks are you working on?
Well, I’m still working to get back to where I was last year with back sevens and front fives, I’ve been working on the Mctwist too.

What do you do when you’re not snowboarding?
When I’m not snowboarding I try to dedicate my time to my family and friends because I don’t get to spend a ton of time with them.

Where’s the coolest place you’ve traveled to ride?  Where do you really want to go?
The coolest place I think would have to be Mammoth for the Roxy Chicken Jam. I would really like to ride somewhere out of the country like New Zealand or Australia, I’ve never been out of the country so I’d like to experience it.

Favorites:

Lift snack: Strawberry Special K bar
TV: Make it or Break it .  I was a competitive gymnast
Park Feature: any hand rail that is challenging for me but I can still learn tricks on.

Animal: Miniature Dachshund
