What did you think of snowboarding when you first tried it?
I liked it a lot, until the first scorpion. After that it came pretty easy. I have been skiing at the mountain since I was 18 months old.
Do you feel female riders today face any specific challenges, or is it pretty much the same as it is for the guys?
Women’s riding keeps getting better and better! I see so many more gals out shredding than ever before. I still would rather be a girl snowboarder than a guy. I think they have it harder.
We heard you puked right before the Nikita Chickita - is this part of your contest prep?
Oh no…. I am laughing so hard right now. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn’t. I am not sure what’s up with that.

What’s the awesomest thing you’ve learned this season? How did you figure it out?
Cab 5’s in park. I tried one in the Burton AM and knuckled, next time I went bigger. They work now.
What would you be doing if you couldn’t snowboard?
I would figure out some things. I would blow glass, skate, live in the tropics, chill in beautiful places.
Anything inspirational to say to girls just getting started?
Snowboarding is the best thing in the world! The more you get out there the better you get! Even if you are just learning to carve or learning your first spin everyday there is more to learn in snowboarding. There are endless tricks to learn.
Where do you really want to travel to ride?
US- Baker, Jackson hole. New Zealand, Chile, Europe, Japan!
