The Schick Quattro Slopeside Studio
The other day, Sara asked me if I thought it was a bit odd that Paul Mitchell sponsors the US Snowboarding Grand Prix series. Maybe our vision of snowboarders is warped somehow, but I don’t really picture the 75% male snowboarder population buying expensive salon quality hair care products.
Am I crazy? Are they all actually metrosexuals who will make Paul Mitchell gazillions? On top of that, Garnier Fructis is the presenting sponsor of the Australian Open. Because you often see a snowboarder. Clearly from their ads, they are a company that is actively marketing to the male action sports population. Or something.
Oh well, I guess I’ll go get ready to hit up the X-Games and hang out in the Schick Quattro Lounge. I suppose snowboarders do tend to shave…occasionally.
