Shred Betties Says:
The Violenza makes our SUPER FUN list due to it being, well, super fun! True to its “all-mountain freestyle” category, this versatile, agile board was great on a wide variety of terrain. The medium flex and great pop make it really fun on jumps, while Bataleon’s patented Triple Base Technology made for smooth butters, boxes and rails, and helped keep the nose up in powder and slush.
Our only complaint? Like most of the all-mountain freestyle boards we tested, the edges lost their grip a little on super steep, icy terrain.
Curious about TBT? Go straight to the source: http://www.bataleon.com/en/tbt and read about how it’s different from rocker, banana, and your ordinary flat base. There’s also a more detailed description here: http://www.angrysnowboarder.com/2008/10/triple-base-technology-is-not-rocker.html
Bataleon Says:
This board has won back-to-back snowboard tests for a reason. It is becoming the benchmark for women’s all-mountain freestyle boards. We have yet to meet the first girl hatin’ on this. And how could you hate it if it makes your snowboarding so much more fun.
Yeah for it!
