Hello Ladies!  I’m in need of some advice and I’m hoping you can help me.  I’m 5’1” and weigh 115.. I’m currently riding and LOVING a Rome Vinyl 146 but am having some difficulties when it comes to deep pow.  I tried the Burton Troop 151 thinking that I needed a longer board with a flatter camber, but I found it to be a monster to turn and not much better than the Vinyl in pow.  So, I’m wondering if I should go with a reverse camber or something similar.  Does anyone have any advice on which board is really great in pow for smaller riders? Thanks!

Reverse camber boards float really well in powder.  Rome do the Lo-Fi in reverse camber. That could possibly be a good option if you like their boards.

The Never Summer boards have an excellent reputation for float in powder. Try the Infinity-R or the Lotus-R.

My powder board is the 08 Roxi Envi MTX. (I’m an intermediate rider). I love it, it floats through pow and cuts through ice.  The new Roxy 2010 Envi BTX has the reverse camber + magnetraction, and the directional twin gives you a slightly raised nose.  The banana will keep your balance in the center.  You also mentioned you are on the smaller side, the Envi has a more narrow waist for smaller footed riders.

(Hey lilfoot!)
