I think it is similar, but haven’t ridden that Roxy - maybe email d, she rides a Ollie Pop (she rides for Roxy) and has ridden both - her username is d damra - http://www.shredbetties.com/forums/member/53/

her review of the b-street is here: http://www.shredbetties.com/gear/story/on_snow_demo/

d damra?!  summit county diane?  didn’t know she rode that, last time i saw her, she had a burton blender.  i’ll get in touch with her, thanks!

i rode a b-street all last season and I LOVE THAT BOARD!!!!!  Apparently I just got on Roxy (can you add that to my list of sponsors on my BOTM please?), my shop’s been doing sneaky bidnass behind my back… hahaha but stoked!!!  That’s why I was curious to see if the ollie pop was like the b-street, i was also looking at the torah bright board, but i’m worried it’ll be waaay too stiff since she’s known for halfpipe

Yep, that diane… she was on the Blender, but now she’s being flowed Roxy gear and has mentioned that she’s super excited about the Ollie Pop smile

Congrats on Roxy!  That’s awesome.  And the Torah Bright board isn’t stiff at all… we had that in our board test.  Might be a bit stiffer than the Ollie Pop, but still felt like a noodle.  We’re actually suspicious that that’s not really the board Torah rides in the pipe… couldn’t imagine it’d be stable enough for that, but who knows?

im riding a regular ollie pop (so no btx), its a really soft park/jib board. Cannot imagine its stiff enough for the pipe :D

i’m really considering getting the ollie pop, since i have already tested it in 148 centimeter length and liked it very much.
i’m just a bit worried, i would have liked to try out more other boards before making a decision. for example the k2 vavavoom rocker or the burton custom v rocker.
so far, i have only tested the k2 airdu and liked it aswell but not as much as the ollie pop.

at the moment, i ride a burton custom 148. i think it’s a little bit too stiff for me, also it’s not a twin tip. i was not really happy with it when we went freeriding last year.
i’d like to do more jibbing (mostly flatland tricks, sliding boxes and doing small jumps), lots of riding on slopes and a bit of freeriding.

what’s your opinion, would the ollie pop be a good choice? also, the shop where i had a look at it today only has it in 151 cm length and i’m a bit concerned that it might be too long for true jibbing fun? i’m 168 cm tall and weigh about 57 kilograms.

i’d LOVE to hear your opinion on this! i might get the board on tuesday so i really have to think it over and make a decision fast wink

thanks in advance!

hi, just wondering if you got the ollie pop and how it is?? want the gnu b street but cant get hold of it in the uk so also looking at this one. (in 141 if happen to know anyone wanting to sell!)

Do you know if the 2009 ollie pop has the same btx as the 2010? as i have found a cheap one in the 2009 version (although not keen as all on the pinkness of it)

Thanks

yes, i bought the roxy ollie pop btx and i love it - it pops great, is fun for jibbing, it’s good in deeper snow aswell and also rocks on the slopes. icy spots are not a problem anymore due to the magne traction.
someone mentioned that it gets a little shaky when going faster and i have to agree with that, but i still go as fast as i did with my burton custom and just ignore the shaky-ness wink

i have the 2010 model, with banana rocker and magne traction in 148 centimeters.

i don’t think the 2009 model has the btx.

Iv literally just bought the gnu b street 141 from the US and am just gonna pay the extra shipping costs, as i could even get hold of a roxy ollie pop over here either!! Funnily enough also coming off a custom which iv had for a while, way too stiff for my liking, gonna love having a softer board!! cheers anyway!
