So I just saw the two Mack Dawg movies this weekend, and found both of them pretty boring.  Anyone caught any non-boring premieres this fall?

I thought the Absinthe Film (Ready) was pretty bomb.  It had that old school ‘just having fun with my friends’ feel to it a lot of the time.  Throw in some ridercam, some jaw dropping AK lines with JJ and Nyvelt’s Dam wallrides and I was 100% entertained at both premiers..

we just bought Double Decade (my boyfriend needed that one, because he is addicted to Decade), we though some pieces were really good and some pieces were kinda boring.

yeah, that’s what I thought about double decade too.  I mean a few segments were really fun, but overall the boring stuff made me not quite care.

I haven’t seen DD yet but I have a feeling for most people that got into snowboarding in the last 10 years after Decade it will seem pretty boring.

Well the movies didn’t come out this year, but “Prediculous” and “Ubermovie” from Isenseven are my favorite of all time.  Isenseven always has sick editting and its about having a good time. I guess they just came out with a new movie “Teenage Love Graffiti” recently but I haven’t seen it : )

i agree.
I personally thought the movie didn’t have enough ‘quality’ tricks and speed to keep me satisfied the whole movie. I couldn’t really care. Too much talking in the beginning and kinda slow.

I think the whole movie is like a trip down on memory lane for people like my boyfriend, who are snowboarding a lot of years.

Oh, and I saw the new Absinthe film, Ready.  It was much more entertaining, and had much less men in tight pants.  smile

yeah, and the jeremey jones part was insane… as usual.

I was happy to see a girl kicking ass, too (Annie Boulanger) after seeing the Mack Dawg no girls allowed stuff…

Werd.  JJ and the rider cam was mindblowing.  I prefer’s Annie’s part in Optimisitic more even though this years seemed longer.

I really want to see MFR’s part this year.

I just got See What I See… To me, not as good as Lalaland…
When I watch Lalaland, i just wanna go riding because it looks so much fun !
In See What I See… There is more jumps and backcountry (yeah girls, you can make it!!), however, I don’t know if it’s the editing or the soundtrack, but it’s not as entertaining to me….
