What are your plans for this season?  Any big contests we should watch for you at?
Well my plan was to do the Dew Tour, but unfortunately I couldn’t get in. So i’m going to do the Gatorade Free Flow Tour instead. I will be at the Mtn. High, Keystone, and Brighton stop. I’m also going to do some all girls comps like the Nikita Chikita which is at Brighton this year, and hopefully the Billabong Flaunt It in Tahoe.

What’s the next trick you want to learn?
Cab 7. Back 5. I want to get better at rails too.

How do you prepare yourself to try a new trick - do you just wing it, or do you have a process?
It’s all about visualization. If you can visualize yourself doing a trick over and over, your going to do it.

Powder or park?
Thats easy. Pow on a powder day and park on the bluebirds

Where is your favorite place to ride?
Mammoth, although Park City is killing this year with their new park director.

Where would you like to travel to?
Europe, and Japan.

What’s the most intimidating competition you’ve entered? How did you prepare yourself?
The most intimidating contest was definitely the Aspen Open that I did a couple years ago. It was on the same course that they used for the X-games, and it was anything but small. I did a lot of visualizing, and went for it.

Most embarrassing thing that’s happened to you while riding?
Last season, my boyfriend, his friend, and I were riding at PC. There were so many people there is was insane! We were hitting the upper park, and some kids cut us off. We were all in a bad mood, so we started yelling at these kids and telling them to learn how to ride the park. Next lap, we see them again. My boyfriend and I both start dropping in to the jump, while continuing to yell at them. Next thing we know I carve right into him and we take each other out so hard. HaHa So here we are yelling at these kids to learn how to ride, and we make complete doyles of ourselves in the park. I guess thats instant karma. It was so funny.

What do you do when you’re not snowboarding?
Think about snowboarding.

Any advice for girls just getting into the park?
Have fun. Make sure to ask for help! If you see a girl who is ripping, don’t hesitate to go up and ask her for help. Most girls will be happy to give you some pointers.
