Where did you learn to ride?
My first few days and first few seasons for that matter were spent at was at snow summit, and bear mountain.

How is it being a woman in such a male dominated industry?
I think the guys for the most part, are really supportive. I think women snowboarding have had the advantage of learning the sport with the men (unlike skating and surfing). So there was a mutual respect from the start. There are much more women riding now, than ever before, and the girls have really been stepping up there game.

Who do you believe is the most influential woman in snowboarding today?
I think Tara Dakides has been. She is the only chick to this day with a Mack Dawg part, and she had like 3-4 other video parts that same year. She has won x games a million times, and been a huge inspiration to many young girls. Not only that, she is still killing it! She recently won a big contest, and has had video parts in misschief and runway films...she paved the way so that us ladies could make a living loving to snowboard, and shes still doing it! What a badass!

Who's hotter, a guy with an English accent, or a guy with an Airblaster leg bag and a bandana?
Hmmm, Airblaster leg bag and bandana for sure

If snowboarding makes you super rich, what will you do with all that cash? Would you give some of it to me?
Probably not to you, we have never met! But I would give some to charity, and have a shack on the beach somewhere with amazing waves, and live in the sunset like a true hippie.

Pirates or Ninjas?
Pirates! Thanks to Johnny D.

Which one is harder - snowboarding, skateboarding or surfing? And which one is funnier?
I think surfing is the hardest. You never ever get the same wave twice! And half the time, catching the wave is the hardest part. Snowboarding is pretty funny, I think we all find ourselves catching an edge when we least expect it, or getting clipped by the lift line!Chanelle

Who do you have the most fun riding with?
Jamie Anderson, Tara Dakides, Marie-France Roy, Kimmi Fasani, Laura Hadar, Bev, Danny Garrity, Andreas...

If you could invent a crazy new park feature, what would it be?
A 40ft flat box.

Is there any aspect of snowboarding that you really hate?
Cold and icy conditions followed by a bad snowboard park! I hate being freezing.

How many snowboards do you go through in a year?
Around 4

Mittens or gloves?
Gloves, but I am kinda feelin mittens this season....we will see.

What's the coolest place you've traveled to for snowboarding? Ever snowboard anywhere really exotic? Like, I mean with squat toilets?
Yes! Bosnia, and China, and both were amazing. I cant wait to go somewhere with squat toilets this year!

Is there gonna be a Chanelle-O-Matic?
Someday, I hope so!
